to heck with winter.....

Spring is just around the corner, so I've been told.

Winter fishing just doesn't do it for me. I enjoy the early ice but beyond the need to fill the freezer with tasty bluegills and make as much pickled pike as I can, I cant be bothered anymore once february rolls around. bigger and better things await once the ice begins to melt.

this is where you'll find current reports from both my client outings and my personal adventures...as well as a fair amount of chatter from the local fishing scene, upcoming events and the usual rant and rail on things important to me.

My partner Brad Bohen and I are teaching a number of schools this summer in the woods of northern WI and on the Rush River at Little Whisky Fly Fishing Camp...See sidebar for dates and shoot me an emial for more details. I'm also teaching 4 -1/2 day schools on the Kinni with Kinni Creek bed and breakfast starting in april. see www.kinnicreek.com for more details.

More to come, WI early season is just a few days away!
